How to get to Folgefonna Husky Camp
By Rental Car
The easiest way to come to Folgefonna Husky Camp is by rental car. We are located only two hours from Bergen, six hours from Oslo and four hours from Stavanger.
Our tours start from Fonna Glacier Ski Resort with a 30 minute walk up to our camp. Your guide will meet you just outside the entrance of the ski resort.

It is possible to come to Folgefonna Glacier by public transportation. Coming to Folgefonna by public transport often requires some planning and waiting time. The easiest way to discover routes to Folgefonna is by using a Norwegian route planner called entur.no

Public transport from Bergen to Folgefonna Glacier
May 11th - June 21st 2026
It is possible to take line 930 from Bergen to Jondal and arrange for transportation to Folgefonna Glacier with us. Please reach out to us at info@folgefonnahuskycamp.com for more information and confirmation before booking your tour.
June 22nd - July 19th 2026
The bus (line 925) leaves 07:25 from Bergen bus station, Terminal O. At Norheimsund you jump off the bus and walk 30 meters to the tourist boat (2095). This boat takes you across the fjord to Herand (the first stop). From Herand the bus 980/982 (with a bus change in Jondal) will take you all the way to Folgefonna Glaciar Center where the tour starts at 11:00.
After the tour the bus from Folgefonna leaves 16:30 and you will take the same route back to Bergen.
